Failed as a hotel director…

The 21-member supervisory board refused to approve the presented Hotel Strategy 2024: unclear positioning, lack of consideration of key trends and insufficient involvement of the board in the strategy process were the main points of criticism. It was a good thing that Christian Henge was allowed to relinquish the role of the fictitious hotel director after the practical case as part of the seminar presentation “Monitoring strategy work and corporate management”…

Prior to this, the participants of the “Qualified Supervisory Board” seminar learned, among other things, which methods and views they can use to check the quality and future viability of strategies, which forms of involvement and participation of a supervisory or advisory board in the strategy process are appropriate and which personal liability risks threaten with possible wrong decisions.

We would like to sincerely thank all participants for their attention, the lively dialogue and their committed participation in the case. Thus prepared, everyone will do well in the “Qualified Supervisory and Advisory Board” examination at the German stock exchange!
